Lodders is a regional firm established over 150 years ago, with two offices in the Stratford-upon-Avon area. We have 15 partners and employ approximately 106 staff. The main office in Stratford-upon-Avon, where you will be based, houses all the main departments of the firm. We also have offices in Henley in Arden and Cirencester which offer services to local clients. You will find us listed in Chambers 2009 as one of the leading firms in the Midlands in Agriculture, with David Lodder ranked very highly, and as a leading firm in Trusts & Personal Tax, with Martin Green also placed as a top-ranked individual. We also have very strong commercial property and residential property departments, well known for the quality of their work. As a result, the commercial property department regularly wins high value commercial and residential development work from Birmingham. The department also carries out secured lending work for national banks and other funders. The company/commercial department undertakes company and employment work for local and regional business. The litigation and dispute resolution department deals with a range of property and commercial matters, although it does not undertake legal aid work. In addition we also have highways and planning law specialists. We have a social committee which organises the firm’s social events. Trainees are encouraged to sit on the committee, because it is a good way of meeting other members of the firm. The social committee arranges a number of events throughout the year including summer and Christmas parties, go-karting, bowling, theatre trips, quiz nights and skittles evenings.
