Alex qualified as a Master of Arts in Classics and then followed her original career goal to become a lawyer. Alex is a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and an Associate in the firm, the first Chartered Legal Executive that Lodders has ever made an Associate. Alex specialises in agricultural and residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, auctions and agricultural landlord and tenant matters. Alex also acts in relation to highways, private rights of way and access to land, grants of easement and wayleaves, overage, adverse possession claims and boundary disputes, restrictive covenants, the property aspects of trusts and estate planning matters, complex voluntary registrations and commercial property landlord and tenant advice. She is also a member of the Agricultural Law Association and Country Land and Business Association. With an enviable tenacity, Alex is dedicated in her pursuit of achieving challenging targets. Having started her legal career working for a law costs draftsman, her ambitious progression has known no bounds. In her spare time, Alex is a talented oboist and likes to keep fit walking, swimming and in the gym, having even taken part in a sponsored 100 mile spinning class for charity.
