Dorothy began her law career as a legal secretary in 1985. She joined Lodders in 1998, in part due to its outstanding reputation, but also because it is situated in such a beautiful location. Her career has progressed steadily, to the point that she is now a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Legal Executives. Day-to-day, Dorothy spends her time advising clients on residential sales, purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, Declarations of Trust, first registrations and sales by auction. One of Dorothy’s favourite aspects of her job is being able to play an effective and practical role in such an important period of her clients’ lives. Because she always goes that extra mile in her attempts to ensure transactions proceed smoothly, her clients regularly send her thank you cards and flowers of appreciation. As you can imagine, this keeps her envy of the office.
