Eamonn is a Chartered Tax Adviser and the first ever non-solicitor to become a partner of Lodders. Always a high achiever, he chose his career path after taking a job dealing with trust, probate and tax work to enable him to start earning whilst continuing to study. The qualifications he has successfully completed include a First Class BSc (Honours) Degree in Financial Services, the Chartered Institute of Taxation and Association of Taxation Technicians membership examinations, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Diploma in Trust & Estate Practice and the Chartered Insurance Institute Financial Planning Certificate. Motivated by the complexity of his work, Eamonn chose Lodders in 2000 for its reputation as a high quality private client firm.  He previously worked at Natwest Private Banking for ten years, managing their Birmingham dedicated trust team of seven staff. Eamonn specialises in the creation, administration and distribution of trusts, personal tax returns and capital and income tax planning.  He also sits on the STEP Birmingham branch and technical committees. Eamonn is an enthusiastic cook and keen traveller. He picked up the habit of travelling when he was a home and away supporter of the Birmingham City and England football teams. This is a pursuit which he has regrettably moved on from, exchanging his ‘football boots’ for the search of exotic experiences, touring Russia, Cuba and South Africa over recent years.
