John Waldron

Solicitor in the Agriculture Department

T: 01789 206157
John comes from a long line of lawyers, being the fourth generation to take up the practice. He joined Lodders in 2005, initially as maternity cover, but did not hesitate to accept a permanent position when it was offered to him. This was due to the unusually high level of expertise in the company, despite having already retired once as Senior Partner at a firm in the Black Country. His other accolades include being awarded a Birmingham Law Society medal, and having filled the posts of President of the Dudley and District Law Society, Chairman of a health authority and non-executive Director of a building society. At Lodders, he is chiefly concerned with a wide range of property transactions. A natural volunteer, John appreciates being in a position where he can help others resolve issues that are adversely affecting them. Involved in numerous charitable causes over the years, he spent a period of time as the Chair of Dudley Advocacy, which is a charity that provides advocacy services to the disadvantaged. In his spare time he can either be found sailing, fishing or challenging himself with a spot of DIY.
