Mike’s previous experience was acquired working in a corporate banking environment. Having spent a successful career employed at Barclays Bank, Mike was head-hunted by Lodders due to the strong relationships he formed with the senior management in his capacity as the firm’s Bank Manager. This experience gave Mike a good appreciation of Lodders financial structure and he is now heavily involved in a number of strategic decision-making processes which are helping to map out the future structure of the organisation.   Mike considered a career in law before he went on to forge a route into banking. This decision proved to be a wise one, as the year that he completed his Chartered Institute of Banking Exams he achieved a  prestigious ‘Top 50’ standing in the UK. Aside from his love of sweets, cakes and fish and chips, Mike’s fanatical passion is undoubtedly following the ups and downs of West Bromwich Albion where he attends every game whether home or away!  Being of Maltese descent he also greatly enjoys the Italian way of life despite coming from the sophisticated Black Country.  Mike is married with 3 children and a slowly increasing list of grandchildren.
