Sofia pursued a career in law so that she would never have to stop learning. This is a wish that’s been granted ten-fold now that she heads our Stratford upon Avon Care and Capacity Team, specialising in Care Funding, Mental Capacity, Court of Protection and Powers of Attorney. To stay up to date, she is currently a student member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners and a full professional member of Solicitors for the Elderly. She is also joint regional co-ordinator of the Warwickshire and Worcestershire branch of the Solicitors for the Elderly and has just been appointed to the Office of the Public Guardian’s new Panel of Deputies. Having originally completed a degree in English, her interest in arts and culture has followed Sofia throughout her life. This has taken the form of ballet dancing as a child, performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival as a student and today, playing the piano and getting pieces of her topical satire published on the internet. Although, all Sofia really wants to do when she gets home at the end of a long day is spend quality time with her beautiful young son.
