Lodders wins the Contribution to the Community Award at the FirstPro Awards

We’re delighted to have won the Contribution to the Community Award at the First Pro Awards, hosted and run by Coventry and Warwickshire First.

The categories at the awards aim to recognise excellent teamwork in Coventry and Warwickshire and celebrate the success of leading businesses and their collective achievements.

Commitment to local causes

The award winners were revealed yesterday, 12th November 2020, with judges commenting on Lodders’ win, “We were particularly impressed by the scale of Lodders’ activities and commitment to local causes. Their activities involve everyone in the business with a charitable foundation that has raised £50,000 over 3 years. There is a clear strategy that benefits local causes, the business and its staff. They have ongoing & future projects in the pipeline which demonstrated a genuine commitment to continue with their endeavours on an impressive scale.”

Lodders Charitable Foundation

The Lodders Charitable Foundation (LCF) was created in late 2016 with the aim of raising vital financial support and providing help to local charities, where we believe we can make a genuine difference.

Every two years, LCF chooses two regional charities to support, whilst also fundraising for additional charities through other events. For 2019 and 2020, the chosen charities were Lifespace Trust and the Shakespeare Hospice.

David Lodder, trustee for the LCF commented, “We take great pleasure in being able to support our local community and are delighted that we have been able to help local charities, particularly during these difficult times.”
