We’re going digital

You’ve all seen what a typical lawyer’s office looks like; floor to ceiling cabinets full of files and plenty of paper.

There is no denying that the word is rapidly shifting to all things digital. People are consuming more and more digital content on a daily basis – on mobiles, laptops and desktop computers, so from now on, Lodders people are going to be managing all their documents electronically.

How will it work?

Electronic document management (EDM) will enable all documents and records to be managed digitally. Currently, Lodders uses a dual system where documents are stored electronically and in hardcopy form. The idea behind the new electronic system is to be able to track, manage and store all documents in one place, to run files digitally and – of course – to reduce paper.

I’m a client – how will this benefit me?

Not only does EDM support Lodders’ ongoing commitment to take advantage of the latest technology, it also has many benefits for our clients.

EDM means that data and documentation can be sent to you faster and more securely, rather than relying on the post. Added to that, it will be easier for you to manage and store your legal correspondence and documents on a digital basis and avoid having to accommodate the huge amounts of paper that legal matters can often generate.

By using Lodders for your legal requirements, you can be sure that you have chosen a firm that puts efficiency and the environment at the forefront of its business.
