Are you a legal secretary with experience in property work? If so, please read on as we are recruiting for an exciting and varied opportunity in our skilled secretarial team in Stratford upon Avon.

Job purpose: 

Working as part of a small but growing team, you will provide professional legal secretarial support to 2 senior lawyers.


Key tasks and responsibilities for the role:

To carry out core legal secretarial duties including:

  • Opening files and completing standard documents
  • Dealing with compliance issues
  • Typing dictation
  • Invoicing
  • Scanning documents and keeping files up to date
  • Dealing with incoming post and scanning to matters
  • Managing diaries and arranging appointments
  • Managing emails
  • Support with printing documents and bundles
  • Closing files and general admin assistance for the team


 Knowledge, education, and experience:  

  • Good knowledge of SOS and other commonly used software
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Excellent oral, written and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Experience in a demanding, high performing professional services environment
  • Good time management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • To be friendly, professional, and approachable at all times
  • Previous legal secretarial experience is essential and employment experience would be a great advantage
