What do you specialise in?

I specialise in non-contentious agricultural law.

What do you most enjoy about your job?

I enjoy the diversity of the job and of course the fact I get to escape the office once in a while to meet my clients and their advisors at their farm, or better still on the racecourse or for a chat whilst breaking clays.

What sort of clients do you work with?

I have a varied client base from farm owners, new entrants to the farming market, developers or those buying their lifestyle property.

Have you always worked in the legal sector? If not, what did you do before?

In a former life I was a riding instructor and I’ve worked in the UK and abroad. My favourite job was in Midwest America where I learned to ride a bull!

Are you a member of any societies, committees or organisations either at work or externally?

I am a member of the Agricultural Law Association and the Country Land and Business Association.

Are you involved with, or a trustee, of any charities?

Not directly, although I have participated in many charity events and have completed Race the Sun.

What gets you out of bed in the morning?
