I qualified as a solicitor in 2015 and after acquiring almost 3 years of experience in Private Client matters, I joined Lodders in November 2018. Prior to that, I worked in the Private Client department at Cheltenham firm, Willans LLP, for several years.
I have a background in residential conveyancing having spent a lot of time during my training contract and 8 months following qualification in this specialism. This lends itself well to my work now as the majority of trusts and estates that I deal with involve property.
I am now a solicitor in Lodders’ Tax and Trusts team within the Private Client Department. I advise trustees on the legal and tax aspects of trust administration and also specialise in the drafting of wills, powers of attorney and the administration of estates.
My job involves working closely with professionals as well as with families. Every family’s dynamic is different and getting to know people and providing the advice they need is rewarding.
I also value the breadth of expertise in Lodders’ Private Client department meaning the knowledge shared amongst the team and given to clients is always rounded.
