Over 100 guests from Cheltenham’s business communities joined Lodders partners, staff and clients to celebrate the official opening of the law firm’s new office in the town.
Lodders has moved to the Georgian detached office building Glensanda House on Montpellier Parade, from Imperial Square, following five years of strong growth since the firm opened its Cheltenham operation in 2013.
Welcoming guests, Lodders’ managing partner Paul Mourton, said: “We had simply outgrown the Imperial Square offices, with the team growing more than five-fold in the five years since we launched in Cheltenham.
“Demand for our corporate, property, employment and private client legal services has also grown, and our new offices are not only an important step in our future expansion plans for our operation in the town but also a further statement of intent and Lodders’ commitment to Cheltenham.
“It reaffirms the importance of this operation to Lodders’ wider vision to maintain its place as one of the premier law firms in the region.”
Amongst the guests were Cheltenham’s MP Alex Chalk, representatives from Savills, Hazlewoods, Knight Frank, Crowe, Bruton Knowles, Butler Sherborn, Fisher German LLP QuoLux, Circle2Success, Investec and Cheltenham & Gloucester Hospitals Trust.
Local caricaturist Steven Garner was kept busy sketching his portraits of many of the guests.
Lodders’ new office is Glensanda House, 1 Montpellier Parade, Cheltenham, GL50 1UA, Tel: 01242 228370. Lodders’ partners Jessica Beddows and Nick Rowe are joint heads of the Cheltenham practice.
