Professional Negligence
Lodders expert Dispute Resolution solicitors in Stratford upon Avon and Cheltenham offer specialist advice on professional negligence, including claims against individuals, accountants, surveyors, and solicitors.
You may be entitled to damages through a claim for professional negligence if you have received advice or a service from a professional (this could be a financial adviser, valuer, surveyor, accountant, or solicitor) which falls below the required standard. In order to have a claim for professional negligence, damage or loss must have occurred as a result. If you feel you have been let down by the advice of service given to you by professional adviser then you may have a claim for professional negligence.
Time constraints
There are different time limits for different types of claim. In terms of a claim for negligence, there is a time limit of six years to bring a claim from the date the negligence occurred. There are, however, certain circumstances where this period can be extended.
