About the role

The role will involve writing for the website and our email marketing channels, features and articles for our magazine ‘Lodders Life’ and some social posts too. You’ll have a good understanding of SEO and how to optimise on-page content. Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing and creating website content
• Creating written content for our social media accounts
• Creating email marketing and other client communications
• Supporting at events, and with pre- and post-event comms
• Writing blogs and case studies, for both the website and our magazine, Lodders Life
• Writing award submissions and directory entries
• Creating content for the intranet and other internal communications
• Liaising with the PR agency to ensure articles are on message and signed off promptly, and managing the photography requirements.

About you – experience and attributes

You’ll love working in a fast-paced environment, on a variety of different content projects and will have no issue with a busy week or being up against a deadline. It’s also important that you’re able to work independently as well as with the marketing team. Your skills, attributes and experience will include:

• 2 or more years in a content-based marketing role, ideally within legal or professional services.
• Strong writing skills, able to adjust style and tone of voice for different audiences.
• Excellent spelling, grammar, and attention to detail.
• Ability to translate complex ideas into plain English.
• Great communication skills – both written and verbal.
• Highly organised and able to manage multiple projects and a busy workload.
• Creativity and a desire to learn new things.
• Willingness to attend work-related events and seminars out of core office hours
