We are currently looking for an experienced legal secretary to support our Dispute Resolution team, based in Stratford.  

Working as part of a small but growing team, you will provide professional legal secretarial support to 2/3 lawyers.

Key tasks and responsibilities will include

  • Opening files and completing standard documents
  • Dealing with compliance issues
  • Typing dictation
  • Invoicing
  • Scanning documents and keeping files up to date
  • Dealing with incoming post and scanning to matters
  • Managing diaries and arranging appointments
  • Managing emails
  • Support with printing documents and bundles
  • Closing files and general admin assistance for the team

Knowledge, education and experience required

  • Good knowledge of SOS and other commonly used software
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Excellent oral, written and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Experience in a demanding, high performing professional services environment
  • Good time management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • To be friendly, professional, and approachable at all times
  • Previous legal secretarial experience is essential and litigation experience would be a great advantage
