Lodders shortlisted for Law Firm of the Year award

Lodders has made the shortlist for Law Firm of the Year at Insider Media’s Midlands Residential Property Awards 2022.

The award shortlisting comes as an excellent recognition of all the hard work the firm has put in over the past year.

High standards to maintain

For the third year in a row, Lodders has reached the shortlist, and having won the Law Firm of the Year award in 2021 and 2020, know it is going to be a tough competition with high standards. Insider has had a record number of entries to this year’s awards, so Lodders’ submission had to stand out.

Submissions

Transactions included in the submission included the continuing work Lodders is doing with Spitfire homes. James Mottram, partner in the Real Estate team and Victoria Longmore, partner in the Planning team worked on the acquisition of development sites with Spitfire, most recently working on the instruction of the purchase of approximately 30 acres of land in Radcliffe on Trent in Nottinghamshire.

Other transactions included the sale of land at Silverstone race track to Formula One racing team Aston Martin. Led by Lodders’ head of the Business Property team, Alistair Frew, the multimillion pound deal kick-started the beginning of Aston Martin’s plans to develop their base at the iconic circuit with a new state of the art factory.

Winners are to be announced at the Insider gala ceremony in Birmingham on 23 June.
