I’m an associate in Lodders’ dispute resolution team. I advise clients on a wide range of commercial and contractual disputes, with a particular specialism in professional negligence matters (including claims against solicitors, surveyors and valuers, construction professionals, accountants and other professionals).
What do you most enjoy about your job?
I particularly enjoy using my legal skills and experience to try to ease the burden on clients as they go through what can be a very stressful process. I relish the challenge of trying to resolve difficult problems with a view to achieving a client’s desired outcome as cost-effectively as possible.
What sort of clients do you work with?
I work with a range of individual and corporate clients.
When did you start at Lodders? Any interesting past employers?
I originally trained at a City firm, where I specialised in insurance and professional negligence disputes after qualifying as a solicitor in 2009. I then moved to Clyde & Co in 2010, where I worked for over seven years, again specialising in professional negligence and similar disputes. I joined Lodders in May 2018.
Any interesting qualifications?
I very much enjoy learning other languages. I initially studied Spanish and Italian at university before changing direction.
Any interesting personal achievements?
Music is a huge passion of mine. I have played the piano since a very young age and (when I am not out walking in the beautiful Cotswold countryside or at the theatre here in Stratford!) can often be found doing precisely that in my spare time.
