Short bio:
I am a solicitor apprentice within the Tax & Trusts team at Lodders, having joined the firm in February 2023.
Within my current role, I assist with the day-to-day administration of trusts. In this role, I get to learn new things every day, which gives me the opportunity to build upon my existing experience and knowledge.
My favourite aspect of my role is the people that I get to work with.
After graduating from university, my first job was in a Tax and Trust corporation, which is where my interest in this area stemmed from. I was then lucky enough to get a job at Lodders in the Tax & Trusts team.
Outside of work, I am involved with a charity that was set up by my family to continuously raise funds for a school that we have built back home. The Azad Choudhury Academy is a school situated in northeast Bangladesh and is an independent school that provides education for 10 villages who otherwise would not be able to gain any education at all. I have also taught there when I have visited.
