Nida Choudhury

Short bio:

I am a Trainee Solicitor in the Private Client team.

I joined Lodders in February 2023 and advise individuals, families and trustees on a broad range of private client matters. I work closely with clients to help them plan for the future, protect their assets and provide for those who matter most to them.

My work includes advising on wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, estate administration and trust matters. I also have experience dealing with trust creation, Trust Registration Service requirements, deeds of appointment and changes of trustee. As my experience has developed, I have built my own caseload and regularly meet with clients independently, providing practical and tailored support to help them achieve their objectives.

I enjoy building strong relationships with clients and taking the time to understand their individual circumstances. Private client work often involves important personal and family decisions, and I aim to provide clear guidance and support throughout the process.

Before joining Lodders, I worked for a tax and trust corporation, where I developed a strong interest in private client work. Since then, I have continued to build my experience across a wide range of estate planning, trust and estate administration matters. I am due to qualify as a solicitor at the end of 2026.

Outside work, I am actively involved in a family charity that raises funds for the Azad Choudhury Academy in north-east Bangladesh. The school provides education to children across ten local villages who might not otherwise have access to schooling. During visits to Bangladesh, I have also had the opportunity to teach at the school and support its ongoing development.
