Simon Parkes

Short bio:

I joined Lodders on 19 May 2025. Beforehand, I worked in the airline industry and the RAF, where I carried out 10 years of service and loved every second of it.

As the IT Service Manager, I feel I am in a role which can make a significant impact to the business. I have been in the lucky position of carrying out many roles within IT, from Service Desks to large team management. If I had to make a statement, I would say my specialist area would be where “the rubber meets the road” being that I enjoy interaction and solving problems.

I used to participate in the 72-Hole Golf Challenge which helped raise money for the Macmillan Cancer Support Charity. I was in a team of 10 that ran from John O’Groats to Lands End in 10 days, we did not go the direct route we visited as many RAF stations as possible on the way to collect money for charity. 1200 Miles in 10 days! I also volunteer for the Wellesbourne Repair Café.           

I am based in Stratford upon Avon
