I became the firm’s Managing Partner in January 2018, and at that time was the youngest managing partner of a mid-tiered law firm in the UK.
Before being appointed as Managing Partner, I led and was responsible for the strategic growth of the firm’s award-winning Real Estate practice, and I continue to play an active part in its strategic direction.
In 2013 I was responsible for opening and managing the firm’s new office in Cheltenham, and have led and overseen its growth to date. Cheltenham remains a geographical location of strategic importance to us and our future growth plans.
In spite of my management role, I am very keen to stay ‘on the tools’ and I balance fee-earning with managing the firm and seek to split my time equally between the two.
In terms of my property work, I specialise in investment property transactions and large-scale property development for both residential and commercial clients and act for one of the country’s largest logistics companies as well as other various national and regional property companies. I deal with all manner of developments from logistic and distribution sheds, hotels, car showrooms, out of town retail schemes and business parks, medical centres and largescale residential schemes. On the investment front, I have acted for private investors in the acquisition and disposal of investment property and for developers in the forward funding of commercial developments both with lot sizes of between £2m and £200m.
Outside of the office, I am a trustee of the Get A-Head Charitable Trust, which supports patients suffering from diseases of the head and neck, with a particular focus on cancer. The charity, based at the QE Hospital in Birmingham, also offers invaluable support to the families of those affected.
