Lodders renews its sponsorship of the Stratford 10k

Lodders is thrilled to once again return as principal sponsor of the Stratford Big Half Marathon and 10k later this year.

Taking place on Sunday 13 September, the popular race will once again take place throughout Stratford-upon-Avon as Lodders returns for its 16th year of sponsorship. This year, the event will support Friends of Stratford Hospital, a charity supporting the local community to enhance their hospital experience, and the Time Out Group, which provides specialist support to children with disabilities and their families.

A team of 20 runners from Lodders will be participating in the race – our biggest team to date! Earlier this year, Steven Baker, partner in Lodders’ Real Estate team and long-time leader of the firm’s participation in the Stratford 10k announced his retirement from Lodders. After many years of doing the runners’ welcome speech, Steven will speak at the event for the final time. We wish Steven all the best in his retirement and want to thank him for his support for the Stratford 10k over the years.

Daniel MacLeod will be leading the effort at Lodders and encouraging participation across the firm going forward.

He said: “Events such as the Stratford 10k and the Leamington Regency Run, which Lodders proudly supported earlier this year, play an important role in bringing people together, promoting wellbeing and celebrating the communities in which we live and work. 

“It’s fantastic to see more than 20 colleagues taking part in this year’s Stratford 10k. This is reflective of the enthusiasm across the firm not only for supporting a local charitable event, but also for embracing teamwork, challenge and a healthy lifestyle. 

“We are proud to have been involved in the Stratford 10k since 2010, and we look forward to another successful event that benefits important charities and their beneficiaries across the region.”

Rob Minton, Race Director of Stratford’s Big Half Marathon and 10K, organised by Tempo Events said: “We’re so pleased to be partnering once again with Lodders Solicitors who continue to provide support for our flagship race in Stratford-upon-Avon. Entries are coming in thick and fast now with only a handful of weeks left before race day. The Half Marathon has sold out however we’ve managed to increase capacity further. We’re expecting both distances to fill up quickly.”
