Lodders has advised Coventry-based SpaSeekers Ltd, one of the UK’s longest-running spa booking platforms, on its sale to Excalibur Group, the parent company of Wowcher, Spabreaks.com, 5pm, Things-To-Do, and Superbreak.

The deal follows Excalibur’s acquisition of Spabreaks.com in October 2025 and marks another step in the group’s strategy to grow its presence in and support the development of the UK spa and wellness sector.
Lodders’ Steve Halkett, partner in the Business Services group and head of Corporate, and Nicola Vernon, senior associate in the Corporate team, acted for SpaSeekers’ founder Jason Goldberg in the sale which was completed in a five-month time frame.

The acquisition provides SpaSeekers with greater scale and broader market reach, whilst preserving the distinctive brand proposition and loyal customer base that have underpinned its success.”

SpaSeekers will continue to operate as a standalone brand with no immediate changes to booking processes or partner arrangements, and the Coventry-based team will remain in place.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
