Lodders welcomes four new trainee solicitors

Investing in new talent is central to Lodders' long-term vision.

Lodders has appointed four new trainee solicitors, as part of its ongoing commitment to developing the next generation of legal professionals.

Joining the firm’s competitive training programme are Holly Tyson, Reece Jones, Richard Phillips, and Rizyar Sirwan-Mahmood. Each trainee will gain valuable qualifying work experience across four six-month seats, developing practical legal skills and insight across Lodders’ key practice areas.

Holly Tyson joins Lodders’ Residential Development & Strategic Land team, part of the firm’s Real Estate group based in Stratford, where she will work with strategic land specialist James Leighfield.

Reece Jones begins his training in the Business Property team, also in the Real Estate group, working with Lodders’ partner Alastair Frew and solicitor Olivia Beeton.

Richard Phillips and Rizyar Sirwan-Mahmood both join Lodders’ Private Client team, working alongside partners Louise Igoe and Sharon Crosby in Stratford.

Louise Brookes, learning and development manager at Lodders, says: “This year’s trainee programme attracted a highly competitive pool of applicants. Building on the success of last year’s cohort – now in their third seats and gaining broad experience across the firm – our new trainees are set to benefit from a similarly rich and diverse development journey. Each trainee also brings valuable in-house experience, which is a real asset to our teams and clients from day one.”

Paul Mourton, Lodders’ managing partner, adds: “We’re delighted to welcome our new trainees to Lodders. Each of them has shown exceptional skill and talent throughout what was an incredibly competitive application process. These new appointments are a testament to the firm’s continued growth and strong reputation in the regions in which we operate. Investing in new talent is central to our long-term vision, and we remain committed to supporting the future leaders of the legal profession through our comprehensive training programme.”
