Short bio:
I am a solicitor in the Private Client team.
I joined Lodders in October 2024 and specialise in helping clients to get their personal affairs into good order. My role is to advise elderly and vulnerable clients on how to prepare for the future. This includes drafting wills to set out who receives their wealth on their demise and putting in place Lasting Powers of Attorneys to determine who will make decisions on their behalf when they are unable to do so themselves.
I also advise family and friends wishing to safeguard and protect loved ones who lack capacity to manage their own financial affairs by assisting them with applications to the Court of Protection.
I regularly deal with the administration of estates of those who have left a will or died intestate (without a will) and can advise on post death planning, as necessary.
I enjoy that my role brings variety and complexity, but mostly that I can provide advice to clients and family members in plain english as well as giving reassurance on matters which can often feel overwhelming.
