Short bio:

I am a Partner in the Private Client team and lead the firm’s probate team.

I joined Lodders in 2007.  I qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2017, having undertaken my professional training while working at Lodders. 

I specialise in complex estate administration, with particular experience of estates involving significant inheritance tax considerations, business and agricultural interests, cross border assets and other complexities.

I deal with the technical aspects of estate administration, including inheritance tax accounts and HMRC requirements. I guide executors through the legal, tax and practical issues that can arise, providing clear advice on their responsibilities and helping them navigate each stage of the administration.

I also advise on Deeds of Variation, including where beneficiaries wish to change the way in which an estate passes following a death. More broadly, I advise individuals and families on Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and inheritance tax planning.

I enjoy finding practical solutions to complicated issues and making them understandable for clients. Probate often comes at a difficult time for a family, so I aim to be approachable and available when clients need guidance, helping them understand what needs to happen and bringing matters forward in a clear and structured way.
