Law Firm of the Year: Business Masters Awards

We’re delighted to have won the Law Firm of the Year award at the West Midlands Business Masters 2022

The Business Desk hosted the Business Masters 2022 awards ceremony in Birmingham on Thursday 3 November, where they announced this year’s winners in the West Midlands’ business community.

Lodders was shortlisted for the Law Firm of the Year award alongside Gateley, Mackrell.Solicitors, Shakespeare Martineau, and Squire Patton Boggs.

The Business Desk said that we are “in an incredibly strong field” and that “Lodders has taken its services to another level this year.” Winning this title is truly an honour and it reflects all the work that our team has put in over the last 12 months. The award recognises our great team and the growing strength of the firm over the last year. Some of the highlights from the past year include:

• The launch of our new brand in February 2022
• Growth in turnover of 17%
• Several senior hires including Brad Quin, Stuart Price, Elaine Morgan, and Mary Rouse
• Launch of the Lodders Talent Bank to support our recruitment
• Appointment of Tom Ellis as our first-ever General Counsel
• Development of our Enviro Group
• Surpassing £70,000 in funds raised by the Lodders Charitable Foundation
