As Porsche’s first customer charging lounge in the UK, the Banbury facility will offer fast EV charging to Porsche customers alongside a luxury refreshment lounge located on the M40.
Accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the premium lounge will also include washrooms, free Wi-Fi, and 24/7 security.
The charging lounge is expected to open in 2026 following a full scheme of development works.
Alastair Frew said: “We are delighted to achieve this result for our client and for Porsche. This previously vacant unit on the Park is now set to become a sustainable, luxurious, and well-connected facility, providing a truly premium experience for Porsche customers.
“The Real Estate team at Lodders continues to see a rise in instructions from landlords and landowners seeking to lease their land to accommodate renewable energy ventures. The EV charging sector, in particular, is expanding rapidly as demand for environmentally sustainable transport grows.
“As a firm, we are committed to supporting the shift to low-carbon energy and recognise the importance of enabling public access to renewable energy infrastructure.”
The deal builds on Alastair’s earlier work with Stroud Park to secure EV charging points and establish it as one of the UK’s largest EV charging hubs.
