Three members of the Lodders team have made the shortlist for Insider’s first-ever Midlands Young Professionals Awards, which celebrate the business talent among those aged up to 35 in the region.
Lauren Hutchinson, associate in the Lodders’ Dispute Resolution team, Lauren Pearson, senior associate in the’ Real Estate Group, and Will Elson, our Digital Marketing Executive, are amongst the 60 young people shortlisted at the awards. Both Laurens are nominated as Young Lawyer of the Year, while Will is up for Young Marketing and Media Professional of the Year.
Lauren Hutchinson was recently named “Associate to Watch” by the Chambers UK Legal Guide 2024, the legal profession’s elite guide to the country’s leading lawyers. As part of the Chambers’ research, it reached out to several clients for testimonials, with one commenting: “Lauren understands even the most complex areas of property law but manages to deliver advice in a user-friendly way. She has a great strategic mind and works collaboratively with clients and counsel to get results.”
Having been promoted to Associate in 2021, Lauren Pearson is an integral member of Lodders’ Real Estate group and part of the team that won the Law Firm of the Year Award at the Insider Residential Property Awards for two years in a row. She specialises in advising clients on matters relating to residential development and strategic land transactions, and recently acted for Deeley Homes in the legal aspects of its application to build a new development of up to 40 new homes on the edge of a Worcestershire village.
Since joining us as a fresh faced (but keen to learn!) apprentice in 2021, Will Elson has had an unwavering can-do attitude and contagious enthusiasm. He possesses an instinctive understanding of the ever-evolving digital landscape, which, coupled with his creativity, has resulted in him orchestrating a number of innovative and effective campaigns for the firm.
