Short bio:
I am a senior associate solicitor in the Family Law team and specialise in financial and children’s work.
I advise and act for clients from all walks of life on children, divorce, and financial cases, and I bring an empathetic but issues and outcomes-focused approach.
I am fluent in spoken Punjabi and have conversational Hindi and Urdu. I also have some literacy ability in Punjabi.
I am assisted by my secretary, Gurinder Johal.
I am a member of Resolution, and a trustee of the Lodders Charitable Foundation.
I am based in Birmingham and Stratford upon Avon

My career highlights
- Winning a contentious significant lottery win case resulting in £8m lottery funds being treated as a marital asset, and capable of sharing with the client.
- Successfully opposed an intervention by third parties in a financial case that was designed to reduce the marital pot available for division, resulting in my client securing a significantly higher award as a result and costs recovery.
- Securing the award of contact to a father through persuading the Court that the children had been alienated by their mother. I conducted the case personally, including advocacy, at the contested hearing without the input of Counsel.
