Short bio:
I am a Senior Paralegal in the Private Client team.
I joined Lodders in April 2017. I support clients with all aspects of planning for the future, from preparing straightforward Wills to drafting more complex arrangements such as Wills containing Asset Protection Trusts.
I also prepare Lasting Powers of Attorney for individuals who want to ensure their affairs are well organised and that trusted people are appointed to make decisions on their behalf should they become unable to do so.
I advise Executors and family members throughout the estate administration process. This includes explaining the terms of a Will, identifying assets and liabilities, advising on whether a Grant of Probate is required, completing the necessary HM Revenue & Customs documentation, and submitting the application to the Probate Registry. I then assist with collecting in assets, settling liabilities, and distributing the estate to the beneficiaries.
I am currently working towards my Chartered Institute of Legal Executives qualification.
I value building strong relationships with clients and take the time to understand their individual circumstances and priorities.
