Short bio:
I am a legal director and I specialise in property-related disputes.
I deal with matters relating to rights of way, eviction of squatters and travellers, easements, beneficial interest claims, forfeiture, restrictive covenants and adverse possession. My expertise extends to residential landlord and tenant issues including service charge disputes, lease extensions, the right of first refusal, and Section 20 Consultations.
I also have a particular specialism in commercial landlord and tenant work, including lease renewals under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954. I enjoy the interaction with my clients and trying to find a solution for them. I also like winning, which is one of the reasons I became a litigator!
I am approachable and easy to talk to, which is very helpful in building client relationships. I am also methodical and a stickler for a deadline.

My career highlights
- Winning a very tricky land registry adverse possession case for an elderly client in relation to a house she had lived in for 60 years.
- Executing a search and seize order on behalf of the Law Society which involved climbing over several fences!
- Acting in a successful lease renewal case that went to trial; very few of them do.
I enjoy the interaction with my clients and trying to find a solution for them. I also like winning, which is one of the reasons I became a litigator!
