I joined Lodders in 2019 as an Associate in the Dispute Resolution team, having spent over 14 years with another Warwickshire firm. I specialise in property related disputes and deal with matters relating to rights of way, eviction of squatters and travellers, easements, beneficial interest claims, forfeiture, restrictive covenants and adverse possession. My expertise extends to residential landlord and tenant issues including service charge disputes, lease extensions, the right of first refusal and Section 20 Consultations. I also have a particular specialism in commercial landlord and tenant work, including lease renewals under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I enjoy the interaction with my clients and trying to find a solution for them. Property disputes can be difficult for the parties involved and I enjoy working with and supporting my clients from the beginning to the end.
What sort of clients do you work with?
My clients are a ‘mixed bag’ from private individuals to FTSE 100 companies.
Have you always worked in the legal sector? If not, what did you do before?
I have worked in the legal sector for the last 15 years, starting out as a secretary and paralegal before qualifying in 2009.
What gets you out of bed in the morning?
Coffee and the morning traffic on the M40!
