CITAC and Kpler join forces to expand African intelligence coverage

Lodders’ Corporate team recently acted for the shareholders of CITAC in its sale to global trade intelligence technology company Kpler.

CITAC is the leading market intelligence business for Africa’s downstream energy sector, with more than 25 years of experience in the region. CITAC works with private and public energy companies, industries, investors, consumers and governments of the African energy market bringing expert knowledge, hands-on training and data together with tailor-made insights and solutions.

The sale enables Kpler to add on-the-ground market intelligence expertise in what is one of the most strategically important and underserved energy markets.

Lodders’ Leanne Lawrence and Graham Spalding provided legal support to CITAC’s five shareholders. Three of the shareholders – Gary Still, Elitsa Georgieva and James McCullagh – will continue in their roles within the new business.
