Lodders celebrates a decade of top-tier rankings in Chambers HNW Guide

The Guide recognises leading advisers to high net worth individuals.

Lodders’ private wealth specialists have once again been recognised amongst the UK’s leading legal advisers in the Chambers High Net Worth Guide 2026.

Unparalleled private wealth expertise

The Chambers High Net Worth Guide identifies the world’s leading professional advisers serving high net worth individuals and families. Its rankings are based on extensive independent research, including client feedback and market analysis.

Marking ten consecutive years at the top of the rankings, Lodders’ private client team has retained its Band 1 position. The guide describes the team as: “second to none in terms of experience, rounded practical application and the ability to encapsulate advice into first-class documentation. Its wealth and breadth of experience is unparalleled in any other law firm within our area.”

Individual rankings

Louise Igoe, head of Lodders’ private client team, retains her Band 1 individual ranking, with Chambers highlighting that she is: “very approachable and provides a high standard of service to clients offering a broad depth of knowledge and experience.”

Partner Michelle Gavin also retains her Band 1 ranking, with Chambers describing her as “at the cutting edge of her discipline” and noting that she “works very hard to understand the client’s requirement and then to deliver the service required.”

Laura Banks, legal director in the private client team, is also recognised with a Band 1 ranking in the Private Wealth Law category. Laura is noted for her “expertise in trusts and wealth management for private clients and wills.”

For private wealth disputes, partner Martin Oliver is once again recognised by the guide for his “formidable reputation as a litigator.” He is described as “about the best strategic thinker on private wealth disputes that I’ve come across.”

A rising talent

The 2026 guide also recognises senior associate Anjali Narshi as an Associate to Watch in Private Wealth Disputes – an exciting new individual ranking that reflects her growing reputation. Chambers notes her “sharp tactical sense” alongside her “excellent client-facing skills” and commitment to achieving the best outcomes for clients.

Commitment to excellence

Commenting on the rankings, Lodders’ managing partner Paul Mourton says: “We are delighted to see our private client team recognised once again in the Chambers High Net Worth Guide. A decade of top tier rankings is a fantastic milestone and reflects the depth of expertise, commitment and outstanding client service that the team consistently delivers.

“It is especially pleasing to see Anjali recognised as an Associate to Watch, alongside the continued recognition for Louise, Michelle, Laura and Martin. These rankings are a testament to the exceptional calibre of our lawyers and the trust our clients place in us to advise them on some of the most significant and complex matters affecting their families and their private wealth.”
